Sales Associates
Greenspring Energy is currently looking to hire Sales Associates in the Solar and Efficiency departments in our Timonium, MD and Reading, PA offices.
Greenspring is looking for smart, hard working employees who are passionate about solar and efficiency products and services and who are looking to grow a career in the renewable energy and energy efficiency business.
Sales Associates are responsible for:
- Selling solar energy systems and efficiency products and services to residential and light commercial customers
- Identifying the most cost effective products to help maximize the return on investment for each Greenspring Energy customer
- Professionally and ethically represent Greenspring Energy at events, trade shows and during sales meetings
- Develop strong technical and financial knowledge of the solar and efficiency industry with ongoing training and sales support
- Cold call potential customers and generate leads
- Prospect for new business and offer products and services to Greenspring Energy’s existing customer base
- Adhere to Greenspring Energy’s Sales Standard of Conduct and Expectations when presenting products and services to customers
- Follow up on any customer service issues and assist in timely completion and resolution of these issues to improve customer loyalty
- Adherence to Greenspring Energy quality standards
- Adherence to Greenspring Energy safety standards
- Adherence to Greenspring Energy aesthetic and system performance standards
We require of all Sales Associate candidates:
- Minimum of three years of outside sales, retail sales or business development
- Desire to get into renewable energy industry and build a career with a regional solar leader
- Pride in your work and contribution to a winning team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Drive to succeed and achieve results
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Ethical and straightforward sales approach focused on customer value
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly growing business environment
- A 4 year degree is preferred or 2 year Associates degree is required
- Reliable transportation is required
- Drug testing
- Clean driving record
- Clean criminal background

Solar Installers
Greenspring Energy is currently looking to hire Solar Installers in our Timonium, MD office and Reading, PA offices.
Greenspring is looking for smart, hard working employees who are looking to grow a career in the renewable energy and energy efficiency business.
Solar Installers are responsible for:
- Installation of solar hot water panels and solar electric panels on residential and light commercial roofs
- Assisting Solar Installation Managers in completing solar energy system installations
- Install solar panels on residential
- Install roof railings and stand offs
- Properly flash and seal all roof penetrations
- Adhere to collector configuration for solar array
- Clean job site when completed
- Installation of daylighting systems and other related solar and energy saving products
- Local travel required to and from jobs
- Reliable transportation required to get to and from each office
- Occasional overnight travel may be required for larger multiday jobs
- Adherence to Greenspring Energy quality standards
- Adherence to Greenspring Energy safety standards
- Adherence to Greenspring Energy aesthetic and system performance standards
We require of all Solar Installer candidates:
- Minimum of three years of remodeling, home building, contracting, carpentry, HVAC installations/service
- Desire to get into renewable energy industry and build a career with a regional solar leader
- Pride in your work
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly growing business environment
- A 2 year degree is preferred but not required
- High School diploma is required
- Drug testing
- Clean driving record
- Clean criminal background
